This research aims to analyze the relationship between marital satisfaction and family resilience in families working as farmers and fishermen in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara. The background of this research is because farmers and fishermen often face economic pressures, occupational safety risks, and climate uncertainty that impact the dynamics of family life. Using a quantitative correlational approach, this research involved 190 respondents selected through accidental sampling. The instrument used was a Likert scale to measure marital satisfaction and family resilience. The results of the analysis using Spearman correlation showed a significant positive relationship between marital satisfaction and family resilience (r = 0.442; p < 0.05), with an effective contribution of 19.54%. This finding indicates that the higher the level of marital satisfaction, the higher the family's ability to face life's challenges. However, approximately 80.46% of the variation in family resilience is influenced by other factors such as social support, effective communication, and economic well-being. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance of building healthy marital communication and establishing support groups for farmer and fisher communities. This research also acknowledged the limited access to respondents directly and the use of online media, which was not accessible to all participants. Therefore, further research is recommended to further explore these complementary factors influence family resilience in a similar context.
